A Rich History

Richard M. Palmer, Sr. began the R.M. Palmer Candy Company in 1948 in Pennsylvania after serving as a U.S. Army Air Force Captain in WWII. With just four employees and the same number of Easter candy products, R.M. Palmer Candy quickly became a hit among folks looking for a sweet treat that was friendly toward their limited post-war budget. Today, the company has expanded to around 850 employees and a line of more than 500 products but remains dedicated to quality, affordability and tradition, with several processes still receiving a hand-crafted touch.
